Jean Marie Vlassembrouck brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare. First in the pharmaceutical industry, then in medical devices, biological and biotech industry.
He established and held during 8 years the European regulatory and industry affairs position for 3M healthcare in Europe. During his 20 years at Baxter he was responsible successively for Industry and Government Affairs in Europe, Public Affairs in Europe and finally appointed as Vice-President of Industry Affairs worldwide for the BioScience Division.
Many years he was involved with Eucomed, now Medtech Europe and held the Chairman position for 5 years.
During his 11 years of involvement with the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association PPTA, he was first the Chairman of PPTA Europe and then Chairman of the Global management Committee.
He is still active today through his consultancy company providing strategic support on market access issues.
