Rainer Pabst, Ph.D. brings more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of GMP and technology of Plasma Products Manufacturing. He started his career with Behringwerke AG (now part of CSL Behring) before joining Bayer Biologicals (now part of Grifols), where he was the Site Head of the Clayton facility in North Carolina. Afterwards he went to Biotest Pharma GmbH as General Manager of their Plasma Proteins Business before he became the CEO of Biotest Pharmaceuticals in Florida.
In 2013 he joined Reliance Life Sciences in Mumbai, India as a full-time consultant. He successfully improved Reliance’s Plasma Protein operations regarding to GMP, yield and operational excellence.
Since 2017 he is managing CRP Consulting as Founder and Owner which provides technical services for optimizing and implementing manufacturing processes of biological products. Rainer was several years member and later Chairman of the PPTA Europe Board of Directors and member of the Global management Committee.
